The new Zx1 camcorder and Z980 Megazoom point-and-shoot keep to Kodak’s short tradition of low prices, but look like they might be solid performers too.

The Z980 is a low-to-midrange bridge camera, primarily marketed (like its predecessors) for its formidable 24x zoom.

Following a good half year of courtship while the regulatory miscellany ran its course, Verizon’s finally ready to take the plunge and call this $5.9 billion deal done. The combined juggernaut will amass a staggering 78 million subscribers, putting it roughly 3 million ahead of its closest rival, AT&T, though it’ll do so at the cost of assuming some $22.9 billion in Alltel debt.

Capture I recently counted all my email accounts, and I have close to 50. Of course I don’t use them all, but I certainly have more than one active account. The fact is, most people do, and it can be frustrating to manage all those emails and logins - not to mention social networks, a form of communication that is growing rapidly.

As internet users gain more and more ways to communicate, they are looking for ways to centralize and bring things together.
